I do wear the rainbow shield, and I also use Arachibutyrophobia if it has not proced when I needed it to. Immunities, I cast on the ot so he can avoid the fear, and it was just an example, and I am not hoping that my shield procs at the exact time I need it to. I also use it during nexona for the drakes, and pretty much any avatar fight it is useful for.

And don't worry about my dps. I do just fine, but I am a healer first in all situations. However, if you had read the post thoroughly, you would have noted that I said I don't spec CAs only for certain situations where my dps would be minimal due to the amount of curing/healing I would be doing on a particular encounter.

I don't find the rez line that helpful. I prefer to heal/ward people so that I don't have to use my rezzes, but in the event it does happen, my regular old rezzes do the job just fine. If you have to rez that many people, you are probably in trouble anyway. I didn't say it was useless, but for only two fights in RoK is spirit dance really helpful in a huge way -- hate and venril, or for really bad oops situations, which should only really be happening on new encounters.

I also didn't claim that I had the best setup for any other mystic. I was merely pointing out that there is a lot more to talk about with our AAs in RoK than there was in EoF, and I thought it was a little unfair to threaten to ban someone for asking a question I often wonder when i visit the site, even if it was asked rudely.

Y'know unlike other classes mystics don't really have a cookie cutter aa spec that everyone takes. You'll find fans of each aa line whenever the question arises. I think that's awesome. Unlike some other classes mystics actually can play around with their aa until they find something that suits them best. It's not you must have these things and the rest is up to you.

The dog for example. I know some swear by him/her. I know others don't like him. Thankfully SoE made most of our aa dog independent awhile back so now we have real choices.

As far as a gear thread, a good scouring of Lootdb is how I got my shopping list. I was gonna post the stuff I'm wearing, but I messed up halfway through it and said screw it. I've had people ask me for help on lvling mystics and I honestly find it hard to tell them stuff. Leveling now is different from when I was (more of) a noob. KoS was in it's infancy then....but it seems that I help some at least because they've come back to thank me. I think that would be a good thread. Helpful hints when lvling. It seems everyone and their third cousin's nephew has a mystic alt these days. Good sign cuz I remember getting told I wasn't a real healer and the group needed another.
