Does anyone know if the ~1k heal comes when the 30 sec runs out and there is still some left of the ward ( like the singelward is working )...or when the ward gets eaten by a big hit before the duration runs out ?

I really hope its when its been eaten from a big hit, or its pretty useless. How often does a groupward last for its full duration whitout being used totally.

That's pretty much what I think too. I tried it and it seemed to me that it only healed if it ran out, not on full absorption of the ward. I only tried it for 1 raid, but I'd be curious what others input is too.

Both and when you recast it if there is still duration left.

Not sure on that last one... I only had 1 point in it when I did TOMC last night, and it only showed up 55 times on my parse, compared to 379 casts of Umbral Warding. Even a sloppy division of 6 (obviously it didn't hit all 6 group members every time I cast it) puts it at 63 casts.

Necrotic Asylum has me at 621 "hits" of Umbral Warding (103ish casts), 72 hits of Kindred Restoration.

(Disclosure: I agree to fully admit I have limited knowledge when drilling deeper into a heal parse, but that's how I take the numbers. At one point, its not very impressive yet, but I do see this ability coming in around 4-5% of your heals at max points)

You have to remember that every time somebody uses a choker it eats at the group ward, or anything like that. It's really hard to tell how many times you cast from just looking at a parse tbh.

But yeah this AA owns. I was gunna post yesterday, but it was pointless except to say "it owns" ... although this ones point wasnt much better, i just wanted to add my undying affection for Maelani/SheWhosNameMustNotBeSaidIGuess

As in when you recast a ward before the previous one that's up had been used up?
But if the ward hasn't been used up, how has your group taken any damage to receive the heal? Unless no one healed completely since last time anyone took damage..

AE's? Or are you saying that your group wards are all encompassing and no one ever takes dmg when a mob fires off AE's?
