Others have this kind of a thread and we should, too. Plus people have been bugging me about it forever. Healing is unquestionably our #1 priority, but let's use our wonderful combat arts and contribute to raidwide DPS. I believe that everyone in a raid is responsible for DPS. With that said, certain named mobs are perhaps too difficult to chance it (due to nasty damage shields or pesky aggro drops). But, trash mobs and some named mobs should be burned!

I wanted to pick a group of mobs that are consistent, relatively easy, and accessible to anyone; therefore, I have chosen the outside trash from Palace of the Ancient One as a possible test group for measuring performance from a pure DPS perspective. Your numbers will vary based on the speed of the raid through the zone and, of course, group makeup. So, please include any relevant information. Feel free to post any other mobs or group of mobs that you are curious about as well.

Nice parse. I wish I had a sash of pain

Just 2 questions:

1) Where does Critical Channeling come from?

2) Why are you waiting 1 minute between pulls of each mob? In my guild we always have 2 of those mobs on the go so we can get through it as fast as possible, waiting that amount of downtime has got to seriously increase the amount of time it takes for you to get through that trash.

I'm also curious about the gear you're wearing - especially what weapon you're using.

Critical Channeling is from the RoK avatar pants.

Good call on the time between pulls. I overlooked that at the beginning of that zone we had a rather sluggish start. Once I removed the outliers, the average drops to 22 seconds. I agree that is something our raid should work on improving.

I used the mythical the entire time.

10% damage from the pants is what I get as well; I'm usually at around 25% spell crit.
