Yeah, the cure casting modification only applies to single target cures. It's fairly useful in cure heavy fights like Byzola, but honestly i'd still take STR.

solo heal your group on any mob like byzola or trak and you will appreciate any ae avoid you can get. Honestly i can cure more then fast enough with my ui and instant recast is more enough for anything in the game. If you require haste on your cures get a better connection. Just saying.

I just respec'd to the dog line. I was curious though, is there a range on the AE avoid that anyone is aware of? If you are not right near the dog will you still get an effect? Same with Aura of warding. Aura of Warding for sure seems to be be working, it is often 5-8% of my heal parse. But I cant seem to find a way to track if the AE avoid is getting proc'd or not.

Also it says chance to proc AE avoid on NEARBY ALLIES. Does this mean your group members? Or anyone close enough to the dog? (only wondering about this, because I know AE avoid, like Tortoise Shell on Druids, you have to be pretty much on top of the person (within 3 meters or something) to get any benefit.

Im just trying to find out if anyone knows the range on the AE avoid, or whether the proc is something that can be tracked on ACT. Im usually in OT group, so not always near main mob. Or if I should send him in to attack adds, etc.

The ae avoid proc has a 20m range and only effects those in your group. (If I am wrong let me know but thats what ive always heard/seen)

I too would like to know if there is a way to see the ae avoid proc. On raids the 31ish benefitial buffs that show up often block out the runic cover/ae avoid procs from showing up(and making the window bigger does not show more buffs!).

The AE avoid only blocks your group members..confirmed.

The range on the AE avoid, Im unsure of. To me it always seemed smaller, more similar to T-Shell, maybe 5m or so. But definitely no idea the exact number.

There is an icon that you can see, but the duration is soo short(5s) and dependant on the dog retriggering it that if you can eat the AE in the first place u need to gtfo.

You can get 45 now. Also as its cast by the dog is shows up at the top of the list. Looks like gravitas.

For the effects on me I use default, though I *think* profit should be able to do this too. They added this feature somewhere around the end of last year begining of this year. If I get bored I'll trawl the update notes for it.

The other day I set up ACT so that it would beep every time the dog's AOE prevention came up. I heard it about every 3 seconds.

that is awesome, how do you set that up in ACT?

The icon does show up in your spell effects window. It is a a 5sec ae avoid.

The range seems to be about the same as heal range, or about 20 meters.
