Default Cord of Innoruuk's Favored

Does anyone have this one ? Or know anyone that has tried it out.
My question is, is it more a cleric-belt or is it really good on any healer?
At first I thought - oh defenetly clericbelt....but then I noticed its "target of heal" so the shield effect can be Tank or buddy-cleric.
Am I right ?
Reason Im asking is wether I should go all-in bidding on this...or is it semi-good belt ( wearing Girdle of Di'zok now ).

Its good for the MT/OT cleric if they're shield ally spec as both the tank and the cleric get benefit, if you're regularly grouped with a shield ally spec'd cleric then the same applies to you.

Personally with the loot revamp coming in, the upgraded Mummy Stained Bandages from Tomb of the Mad crusader should be roughly comparable (and drop a whole lot more often, 1 drop in the last 5 months of byzola kills for us), and with quite a few physical based AOE's flying around this expansion the Bandages will give the whole group some benefit.

Procs 15% armor effectiveness to target of heal. 2.0/min I think. Similar to proc on C. Mayong earring

"Increases the target's effectiveness of worn armor vs all physical damage by x%" only takes into consideration the actual mitigation values on head, chest, shoulders, forearms, hands, legs, and feet. It does not factor in such increases as +vs crushing/slashing/piercing adornments, +vs crushing/slashing/piercing on jewelry, +Mitigation increase on some fighter shoulders, group mitigation buffs, temporary procs increasing mitigation, or stance bonuses to effective armor.

Cord of Innoruuk's Favored (Hate's Fate):
* +7% shield effectiveness.
* +840 all mitigation (crushing, slashing, piercing, cold, disease, divine, heat, magic, mental, poison).
* This effect can be stacked by multiple casters.

Stained Mummy Bandages (Will of Gynok):
* +15% effectiveness of worn armor vs all physical damage (crushing, slashing, piercing).

In order for the Will of Gynok proc to be equal to the +840 portion of the Hate's Fate proc, your target must have 5600 mitigation from the actual mitigation values shown on those eligible slots. The best geared tanks worldwide currently have values of low 4000s. Hate's Fate affects all mitigation categories, not just physical, as well as gives +7% shield effectiveness.

And there is the issue of stacking the effect. One explicitly says it can be stacked, while the other will require testing to see if it is possible. I haven't had a chance to test it yet, but it is moot because the Cord of Innoruuk's Favored is superior even if those both do stack. The extra +2 Heal Critical Chance and Runic Recovery II are unlikely to make up the difference.

Of course, both of these belts are very good.

I think thats the crux of the argument. The Cord is superiour but not by a huge margin, both belts will give roughly comparable survival for your group.

What I intended by my original comments was that the Bandages will give an easier to obtain alternative, even if you are killing Byzola every week as Byzola's loot table is huge (though we've had the cord drop two kills in a row now - though they are the only 2 times we've seen them). I didn't mean for somone to take it that the Bandages will be better and blow a lot of dkp on them - I'm sorry if you did.

Second time we raided TMC, I saw it and bid a LOT of DKP on it (didn't know whether or not it was rare). Now it drops every-other-time =\

Don't bid too much, it's a really common drop off the first named.

Stained Mummy Bandages didn't make it this hotfix? I see no change on live, but the update notes say the item changes went through.
