Ancestral Balm question.
I am going to be making a second account and creating a mystic as my healer. I was doing some research into how I should spec and gear and what not and had a question that I didnt think was answered. I do plan on raiding with him at some point tho and not just as an heroic instance healer. SO with that being said my question is about Ancestral Balm.
With the release of TSO healers have had to step up their game it seems as far as healing and especially curing. I was reading on Wiki that ancestral balm gives a ward after each cure. I was looking at the specs here on the forums for insight and does not seem to be much as far as info about this either good or bad. Is it a good ability now? Or is it still not worth getting? Thanks.

Re: Ancestral Balm question.
Balm is not instant cast, it just does not get interrupted.

Re: Ancestral Balm question.
also balm is great on the switchmaster fight if you get the delevel, cause you can cure your own delevel with it.

and you can cast it while moving.
I personally didnt put points into adding a ward on it though.

Re: Ancestral Balm question.
Nor did I ... it is extremely limited in its uses. When training to someplace, if you get slowed its great cause you can cast it while still running, On switchmaster (to cure myself), if i'm running in to cure someone i might use that cause ill get in range cast it and start running back, but besides that its real limited.

I think that is the most intelligent thing I have ever seen from a PVP player on these boards.
No but my appoligies I think I did not clearify my question well enough. I was asking if putting AA's into it was worth it for the ward.

Re: Ancestral Balm question.
I say no, because as I (and others) said, its really very situational (to me, and others) ... so those AA's would probably be better spent elsewhere.
ALTHOUGH like a lot has been said, depending on your 'playstyle', that of your raid/group/solo play, and what you prefer. If you find yourself using it alot then it would be worth it.
