Stacking Wards?

OK, first off, i can almost garuntee that this has been answered in a previous thread but im new to the boards and didnt feel like spending 4 hours searching for the exact thread.

Anyway, as a mystic, if i stack 2 wards on top of each other (for instance the group and a single ward) does the ward amount stack, giving me like twice the wardiness? My brother told me that they DO NOT stack, so being hit for 100 dmg takes 100 away from BOTH wards.

If this is the case, spamming wards during a fight is almost a waste of pwr (assuming that the enemy is not chewing through ur wards faster than u can cast them).

Your wards stack with themselves. From what I've been told, two different shaman's group wards stack. Single target wards from two different shaman DO NOT stack. But still, spamming wards is a waste of power if they are not being used up. Getting a UI that tells you how much healing is left on your ward can help you in groups to let you know if you need to be casting wards more or less often.

short answer no the 100 damage wont come out of both wards.

first ward on takes the 100 damage.

What Kaizer said, you keep both single and group ward up so if the tank gets hit for more than the 1st ward absorbs, the 2nd will catch the damage. You can also use stoicism to catch what the single target and group ones do not if the hit is for that much.
