Last night I sort of stumbled into a test. It involved a new item i got last week, and was the first fight I could use it on to truely see its greatness. That item was this:
The test subject was an avatar and this was my heal parse:
Duration name heals HPS Crits
(16:58) Lepios | 510276 | 501.25 | 111
The interesting thing is that with that item I never dropped below 80% mana. Every group ward gave me 5-10% mana back. I did die half way through from adds hitting me, I was rezzed, use mana stone, honor of pantrilla, heart, shard, and a clarity potion. I was about 30% mana at this point. At the end of the fight I had 96% mana with 2 charges on my heart, 1 on my shard, I used 2 clarity pots, and 2 casts of manastone.
But from that fight I had a true smile across my face, with that item I now do not have a mana problem at all and as you can see I was healing for a lot but i did not top the parse. I do admit I had a hard time keeping up the offtank group and trying to keep debuffs up and a few times they did fall. I used torpor once and never used oberon barrier. These spells are not but when mobility is needed for the tank to get adds, torpor is very bad to use. Oberon is very much the same way, yes its nice but I can out heal and ward oberon and I only use it when I am very low on power and the tank to taking a sustained and non-spiking damage.
Just like it was said before our class has a few problems the main being power and that helmet practically solved it for me. I really dont care too much on the hp buffing anymore, its just a losing battle to fight. The thing I find funny is that I can stay up with our defiler in the healing game, but can take him to town in dps, but this has come all from this tier.
P.S.
If I had the set boots or bracers i could have thrown those on and cut 5 secs off umbral liturgy and healed for even more but as I do not right now, I think 500 hps for 16 mins is fine to me.
