Default Log text for successful debuffs

Hey guys,

I've searched the forums but cannot find an answer.

When mystic debuffs land successfully, do they put a log entry in?

If so, what is the text that I can search on in the logs for the big debuffs such as Shrieking Haze, Deteriorate, Umbral Trap, Echoes of the Ancients, Lamenting Soul, etc.

If I missed a thread that already has this, can someone point me in the right direction?

Thank you

I found the text for Lethargy:

Druushk moves ponderously

Each debuff generates log text when it gets resisted, successfully lands, and expires. When you overwrite an existing debuff, it is treated as an expiration immediately followed by a successful land and you will see both log text entries. Why is this useful? I have an ACT trigger that alerts me when one of our important debuffs, Lamenting Soul, expires or gets dispelled. Also, "moves ponderously" is for Haze, not for Lethargy.

Lamenting Soul
is overcome with sadness
The mourning soul leaves

Umbral Trap
feels weakened
strength returns

Deteriorate
is weakened as the blast strikes it
regains its senses

Shrieking Haze
moves ponderously
movements return to normal

Echoes of the Ancients
appears enervated
enervation dissipates

Lethargy
feels lethargic
speeds up as its lethargy fades

Slothiness
is possessed by a slothful spirit
The slothful spirit departs

These are the triggers I wound up with after experimenting. Some text was different for me such as Lethargy and Deteriorate where "its" changed to "her" or "his" depending on the gender of the mob. To compensate for gender, you just have to add .*? in the middle of the text.

I use both the "A" and "B" Timer Windows, and have shrunk them down to small strips. My Visual Scale Factor is .7. In the left (A) window I have the expired or dispelled debuffs:

and the right (B) window has recently cast debuffs and the individual duration timers counting down:

It's nice to have a list of exact times of landed debuffs. After a fight it helps make sense of things that occured.

i keep my maintained spells window stretched across my screen, just above my hotbars. This allows me to have a quick glance to see what debuffs are still up, works for my wards too. of course i usually am chain warding anyways.

not quite as fancy but, meh, it works.

i wish they would make our debuffs work the same way as the dirges, if they are in they grey out, would be so much nicer if you ask me.

If it did then we would only be able to maintain a given debuff on just one mob at a time. And, ideally, all of our debuffs should be maintained on all engaged mobs all the time.

between all the warding/healing and curing, plus debuffs, how in the hell do you find time to throw your red debuffs on multiple mobs during difficult fights, where it would actually count anyways? lol

Debuffs aren't simply a luxury only to be indulged when you have the time. That makes no sense, because then debuffs would lack a purpose as using any would make little difference. You sort of answered your own question; when it counts (difficult encounters) try hard to find that time and you will essentially do less warding and healing because of it.
