Heal parse is really only good to see:

A) Who went for a beer during the fight

B) How much of your healing something does - this comes into play when you test gear and aa out

Otherwise it's useless and not the epeen stroking, class defining beast DPS parse is.

I don't how to slow this down for you any better, hon - I never said that high heal parse = good healer, I'm afraid you're trying to pin something on me I never said.

How you use the heal parse information, i.e. suggesting that the top of the parse = the best healer would be subjective and often false.

The data, however, is fact.

Incidentally, the dps parse doesn't account for debuffs, power flow, cures by mages, heals by dirges, rezzes, etc. so how is that somehow fact based for you? Both are just data and neither are subjective nor all powerful ;)

You have to go beyond the overall parse to measure skill. I think everyone can agree to that because of everything that can indirectly affect the parse. However, thankfully, practically every action you take in the game is logged and we really can see when you cure, when you debuff, when you cast wards that were never absorbed--everything. RoA isn't logged, so instead I create a log entry by notifying others (/tell, /gsay, whatever you prefer). You cannot hide behind the "subjective parse" if someone in your raid can comprehend log entries.

I forgot to mention that Kindred Restoration is considered a successful beneficial spell and can proc other spells from gear which makes it even more desirable. Yes, triggering Kindred Restoration while cursed during the Maestro fight will cause unnecessary red messages, but I haven't seen it cause any associated penalty damage yet.

That explains that. I've had that happen a couple of times (no damage to the group but the message) and i was wondering WTF triggered it because I didnt cast post curse. Thanks for that knowledge, cause i def didnt know that.

IMO, its a waste of AA. our group ward becomes a heal everytime it times out anyway, so why throw 5 points into it to make it do what it already does?

its not just about when it times out, but rather when it expires via being used up like a reactive at the end.

I still think it is very limited in its use, i dont give a shit if i have a timer running on a casted ward or not, when it comes to AE time im refreshing that none the less and group heal is following, more or less the same thing but my group heal is bigger and im back in business and have 5 free AA to put somewhere else
