Dude thats a terrific fucking idea ... and i dont just say that because you have the Strahan avatar ... or the terrific sig (although i wouldnt mind seeing a nice shot of Tyree catching that pass with his friggen helmet), but the 'Solo' 'Group' 'Raid' would be cool (the 'avatar' one could kinda get encompassed by the raid one but i could understand the reasoning).

I think this is a fantastic way to dial in each person looking for data and shooting them to the right section with minimal redundancy.

In each section link up gear, aa's, cast orders, priorities, major quest lines, dps, etc. - sounds like a great summer project for this forum

yeah the difference between raid and avatar would be tiny details.

AA spec would be different cuz you could be at 100% heal crit without using the AA tree.
You could also use a pure healer AA setup rather than, using AAs to increase our dps capabilities.

Also could take into account gear from higher end instanced mobs Ykesha, Anashti, and the annoying fucks in Munzoks.

The raid content would focus on all tombs, palace up to myznak, ykesha to tyrannus. So no point in telling mystic to get the ring off ykesha, the wrist from myznak, and their bp if they have little to no chance of getting it.

IMO thats where all the dream gear threads fail. Sure everyone would want the Avatar charms, BP etc.. But its not logical to think that. SOE did good by putting in the 2 new healer charms in Kurns and EA... I think. Those charms would cover mystics for group and raid, only be replaced by Avatar charms.

Dividing it up is definitely the way to go.

I'd vote for you cause i think you agreed with me a buncha times Cixia, and i like people who agree with me, but I dont know enough about anyone outside of Nektulos (i am very insular). I do agree with you though about Wiz prolly not being 'right' there, because of how versatile our class is, and how you can almost tailor your AA's around your gear and your 'style' (factoring in the 'needs' of your raid of course).

God in so many ways do i love this class... i just hate 'cure cure cure cure cure' fights god is that dumb. It's almost as dumb as having mobs where people have to stand next to a statue and click it (Druusk/Venril).

Well they said at fanfaire that they'll look into getting away from cure fights.

Y'know, we don't really need a mod. We just need someone w/mod rights that we can PM and ask them to sticky stuff.

Do you really all see this as different playstyles vs. people just flat out wrong? I wonder if this is why Mystics are the poor redheaded stepchildren of shaman classes let alone healing. There's no possible way that every mystic is correct in how they do their gear and setup and that there is no correct answer or priority that is largely ignored.

Certainly a mystic running solo dps should be wildly different, but when it comes to healing there is a mathematical best. It may be too complicated for us to fully nail it down given all of the procs and various levels of gear, but we can do far far better in understanding this classes' dynamics than simply 'everyone is right' - you have to admit that, don't you?
