Mystic Forum Mod: MIA?

Lepios, listed as forum mod, hasn't made a post on this site since February? Is that true? Do we need a new forum mod? Nyquist's post needs to be stickied and the forum is a mess with repetitive posts and lack of info (outside of dps gear and basics).

I've only been a mystic main for about 6 weeks now, so my toon is still fleshing out, but this forum is missing some major discussion on healing gear, proc usage, caps on reuse timers, recast timers, lower tier gear still in use and why, etc.

I'm happy to attempt to post up what I've learned in 6 weeks of 100% focus on my mystic - maybe this would allow the more learned Mystics to fix my misconceptions and lead to a good post for myself and others.

I see the resources stickied and referenced, and maybe it's not a forum mod's fault but I'd like to have an active one anyway

Sorry if I'm too new to this forum and I'm missing something - but I haven't had time yet to focus on my dps heavily so this forum isn't very helpful to me in the other silly thing I'm trying to learn (healing).

My introduction to eq2flames.com was as a raiding Illus. I read the illy forums endlessly.

So my knee-jerk reaction was going to be a Pinski-esque "Learn to search, you lazy mofo."

But you bring up a good point. There aren't many current posts in this forum regarding the nuts and bolts of heal mechanics. Also, this isn't a very lively forum. Though, in fairness, I have only been coming to the Mystic forum since Feb '09.

So, in answer to your question, post your conclusions and hopefully it will start a conversation that will become a thread worthy of a sticky. Luckily, I had a beast shaman in my guild I learned a lot from....before he quit the game.

Wiz your a mystic main now!??! Bah, i'm still the best Mystic on Nektulos (self proclaimed).

But hate aside :-) I agree and not because of any fault of Lepios fucking up or anything, but just because it seems either hes not into the game, the class, or being the class leader (or all of the above).

ive been a mystic for about the same amount of time wiz but i was a defiler for 4-5 years before that. kind of hard to get used to cuz i always hated mystics, but its awesome on pvp.

im down to help in any way i can. the healing styles are nearly the same so i might have some useful info as well.

i would nominate Flameur but i dont think he posts on here. he really knows his shit.

I have noticed the same thing; I actually PM'ed the mods a while back to no avail :/ I guess we should etablish a poll or something to figure out who shall take over (as we all know we BADLY need it...)

I nominate Kfizzle, he seems to know WTF hes talking about despite the fact he's playing a monk atm :P (and he seems to pop in and outta here on a regular basis)

Thats about right...no mod in sight, lack of teh infoz, etc.
We do have a good crew and discuss relevant topics occasionally, but that which you mentioned we seem to have glanced over for the moment.

Maybe not avatar killing but cleared all other content. Also someone that can look at numbers and evaluate things based on them. I always respect that since my healing style is based more on instinct/intuition.

I have no idea who that'd be. Kfizz and Kaiser are the only names I recognize other than profe posting here.
