Not quite. IIRC, the remaining crit categories will be Melee, Spell and Heal. There will also be a Double Attack catagory. They are condensing Ranged and Melee crit into Melee Crit. And they are consolidating Ranged Double Attack and Melee Double Attack into Double Attack.

This is wrong. They are condensing all Crits into just Crit. There is no Melee, Spell, and Heal Crit, it is just Crit.

Might you be able to point me to the thread explaining the change. It would seem outrageously OP if Loop of Voidless Being is now going to be +6 Heal Crit, +6 Spell Crit, +6 Melee Crit

This is my understanding too. Which sort of accords with SOE's official unstated aim of making the game so mind numbingly simple that Stephen Hawking could play it.

Wait, he is a genius isn't he? Maybe you should use someone else when claiming the game to be mind numbing.

But more on topic...The changes to crits and the removal of self stuns for healers will completely change 90% of what has been debated in this thread.

yeah...I wonder how (or if) they will preserve Mystic/Warden/Inquis melee DPS if we will likely not have 100% melee crit anymore...

Genius he may be but last I heard his control reflexes weren't up to much. Besides....how do you KNOW he's a genius? All those robotic responses could be nothing to do with him. The language program may just be misconstruing a desperate plea to be taken to the bathroom.
