Personally i like the fast cures. With gear, group, and/or raid buffs heal crit shouldn't be an issue. Would be a waste if i speced for heal crit.

does the cure speed take you past the '100%' casting speed cap?

Because self buffed I cast >20% faster, so all 8 points would be a waste if it doesn't (pass the cap); especially in a raid, where you will more than likely have more speed up buffs

In some end content instance fights, cures are much more important than heals. I think even in some easier fights like Switchmaster and Gynok cure speed can seem as important, if not more important, than heals, especially if you are solo healing a group. If that is what you are raiding, you should have gear with tons of heal crit and the raiders you are healing should be wearing their crit mit gear. In that case, cure speed is much more important than 15% heal crit.

With a Monk in raid, I can get up to around 60% casting haste, but I still spec points into cure haste in STA line to top me off at 100%. Even with a coercer buffing you with Coercive Healing and the 30% cast boost, I would suggest speccing into cure haste.

With diminishing returns, most of us are probably going to wind up at 35-40% cure casting speed improvement without the cure haste AA spec, and with it we would be at 50%. Since I have only seen the bangle drop off of Mynzak once in like 50+ kills WTF, I don't have my cure proc wrist yet, so an extra 10-15% cure casting speed is worth the 16 AA points, especially on mobs like FGU and Gozak.

I agree with Arcane..although I dont play much anymore. Cures were and are still harder to get faster when with your gear and adorns you can get your heal crit up to a very high amount 90-100%.
