If debuff portions of CA's reflect (I don't believe they do), then it absolutely does not show up as a curable debuff/detrimental window. I can guarantee you I've never cured a CA off of someone on that fight.

I'd guess your 'CA' that reflected is actually a spell or you saw some caster/healer in your grp have a debuff reflected and mistakenly thought it was your CA (many classes share symbols like that).

The only attack we have that reflects (if your using the CA versions) is Slothiness or whatever the mana drain thing is called nowadays. Nothing else attack wise gets reflected except our debuffs and that (if using AA versions of our attacks).

I know for a fact death mark reflected on me, and also the debuff from the third line of TSO AA's (blanking on the name right now). I moused over the death mark one so I know it was that. But Death Mark isn't really a CA either, as it doesn't trigger your AA to start, so that may be why it reflects.

I mean... it's not like any melee class has a plethora of abilities that have just a direct damage component to them anyway; they all pretty much seem to have an additional component to them. I think most guilds just had a group or two of scouts run around back and auto attack him.

Mami, spells reflect not CA's (just sayin, tbh imo).

And i've killed Levi with 3 diff guilds, and several Pug raids...and never had anyone go around the back of the mob to do anything to em (no homo).

Really?

Even though its old content, if you ever do it again, try it. When RoK was current, doing that on leviathan significantly reduced the encounter time because they wouldn't get riposted. (saved volatile fluids and skin etc blah blah.)

Bah, i've done that fight without using fluids! :-)

But i totally will take that advice if i ever go on another Levi run (i'm sure it will still be needed or something for VP when we need to go back in T9), because theres no reason to make that fight take longer'n it needs to.

I groan when any priest uses their heal parse as being indicative of their skill as a player. The secret to topping the heal parse is to ward everyone that has chokers (out of your group, too!) and remove your cure buttons from your hotbars. You wouldn't even need to touch any of the tanks in the raid and you would top the heal parse easily with that strategy.

If people aren't dying and you're the one primarily responsible for keeping them standing then great, but tossing out a heal parse as proof that you have a clue is going to have the opposite effect on your argument.

And to add to the levi-reflect discussion, non-direct (i.e. "blue") AOE's also are not reflected. It's too bad they aren't, or I could further pad my awesome heal parse on Levi by hitting Defile when he gets low! I've also had many tanks insist that Bane Warding triggers detrimentals or is reflected, but that's not true, either, to the best of my knowledge.

Like Profe and other mystics who frequent the defiler boards, I like to read my other half's message boards! There's good information here that is very relevant for defilers as well.

I also visit other class boards that I have alts of.
