Hey Guys Archonix is looking for feedback on potential RoK Epic weapons for each class. I got a pm from niber informing me he has been looking in the class sections but he only sees scattered ideas and nothing with solid foundation. So I figured I will use this thread as a discussion thread, to discuss potential RoK Epics. then i am going to create another thread and sticky and lock that thread. I will then pull the idea you guys through around in this thread in the other locked thread for archonix to view and see if he likes the ideas we come up with.

So guys throw out your idea's. Try to make a logical and reasonable weapon (no when activated applies dev slay) lol. Hell take this chance to get something you really want made and not some piece of shit item with generic shitty effect on it.

Hope to see some good ideas.

Well lets get this started then:

First of all do we have to make this thing better then Any other item we gonna be able to get or is this the end all be all mystic weapon?
The reason i ask this is because everybody and his mother will cry when this item is gained like the way the soulfire hammer was gained.
So make a path of epic raiding to require this weapon. and for gods sake don't involve contested epics unless you can make at least 5 competing guilds stand around you when you kill the mob without spell lag.

In my first post i stated the effects i would like to see, i also put up some stats there and i knew it would never match T8 but i think Archonix can fill in the stats + resists to match T8 there.

The effects where:
- Weild style (matches both the healing and dps-ing mystics)
- power proc return or power overtime
- Ward and/or Heal over time

These things alone won't make it a super weapon but just fill holes in our class weakness.

Now we get to the part we have to design a nice and unique effect which makes this weapon OMG! i want that weapon.
Think about the rest of this post as a brainstorm session and i'll just shoot some thoughts don't argue them just add more and more effects to this list and let archonix pick one or two or even more ;P

1) Proc that makes you cast while stunned/stifled/charmed
2) Spell effects increasements add +% to bolster/torpor effectiveness
3) shorter heal casts
4) Fluff spell where you turn into a ghost version of yourself when equiped
5) Proc that turns your group members into ghost versions of themselves and while they in that form they aoe immune

a combination of 1,2 3, 4 and 5

6) proc that turns your umbral attendant into something usefull and something that can be used in the EH trials =)

I'd love to see a trident style weapon that grants enduring breath and has either a right click Shadowy Attendant or even a perma "aura" effect that grants a constant small heal to all those within its range.

Maybe a healing Aura and a right click slow spell?

Ill settle for a twohander, that when scaled to t7 make the Vrashkin's Club look weak.

Throw a proc on their to increase our casting times. Maybe something like on successful melee attack it triggers Chronosiphoning(or a similiar effect)

With the power and heal adornments, I dont think the weapon would have to have anythign special on that end of the scale.

I know I hate watching my slow ass spells cast.

How about procs when healing spells are cast, increases casting time & reuse timer, that'd be my favorite.

Here is a shot in the dark.

How about a weapon effect that allows you to cast all your heals and wards on the run? aka heals/wards can not be interrupted. This would allow us to add a bunch of mobility in raids. i dont know tell me what you think.

BTW guys and gals i am on vacation for a month in Hawaii, so i will be on and off the boards. So if something crazy happens in game, let me know casue i am not playing all the time.
