These forums get boring after a while. When you realize that attempting to have any sort of intelligent conversation is just entirely impossible, the short flames that take little to no effort whatsoever are just so much sweeter.

That said, Sinat definitely did not have anything to do with leaking the info; and to be quite honest, you guys fucking deserve everything you got considering what Nonok did to us a while back. It's not our fault that you guys are hiding a helleva lot more than we ever have, and have all these secrets that you are ashamed of.

Honestly I could care less if they sell plat for real money. I moraly dont see anything wrong with it. If you can find some sucker to pay you real money for something so easily attainable in game more power to you. Better than some bot named Udojink getting it I suppose. I cant imagine ever paying actual money for any items, money, or toons in this game though. I personally like to level my own toons and earn my own plat and gear. I make fun of people that I know of that do it all the time and to there face but like I said I dont have a problem with it. I just think its crazy to blow more than the fifteen bucks a month on this stupid game.
Now on the other hand I do have problems with hypocrits. Davram being the all mighty golden knight of Nagafen and quick to punish people that give his guild a bad wrap in the past, is looking like a huge hypocrit right now. I thought it was bad when he stood back and let his guild abuse game mechanics on contesteds and watch his guild flat out lie about shit in here but now this new stuff just brings it to a whole new level. You guys are basically an unlocked version of Reavers of Fate. At least they were proud of there exploits and didnt try to cover them up. I can respect that.

Misdirection

Giving out your personal information is a choice, a bad one I might add, and no one is responsible for that but the person who chooses to do it. No one can magically "guess" someone elses information. I find laying blame for this, or even being spiteful about it, a grave misdirection (see above) and it doesn't take away from the greater point which many, I'm sure, would like to be overlooked at this point.

We are in a highly competative game, at the high-end of it. People will do and say anything to win. If you are suprised by this or do not have a thick enough skin to live through this, you are in the wrong game.

However, I have never felt this fact was a reason to cheat, exploit, or behave in ways that some lower forms of scum in game do. I would be very dissapointed if Kraken continued with the selling of Mythicals or some of the discussed tactics as a result of trying to cope with what ... a desire for Avatar loot? To win? To beat Onyx? I would have to ask what's the point, and what are you really winning there - and is it really worth a loss of greater respect and dignity?

I will say, though, having swapped servers with another guild previously to great ridicule, I don't have an issue with them going to Venekor. I don't think it will solve anything, but I don't have a problem with it. Nor do I have a problem with forming alliances with other guilds, as has come up in another thread over these issues today.

My main problem, and the thing that really bothers me, is selling or giving away mythicals. It doesn't make me "mad" and I as a person am not my guild. On a personal level, I just find this way below the kind of players we all are in these two guilds (Kraken and Onyx). We're so much better than that. I think it is really disrespectful to the hard work we've all done, and the kind of achievement mythicals are. They might as well be worth dirt if you just give them away to anyone - and what point is working for it if you can just walk in and buy it? The fact others do it, and blue servers do it, and it might piss people off and give some kind of short term satisfaction, is no excuse.

Some people don't care, it's no big deal because they are about to bail on EQ anyway for other games, or just quit - but to some of us, who do play and still intend to, it matters. We didn't spend hours and years of our lives to get here for nothing. And, obviously it is important or no one would resort to this kind of thing, or go to this great of a length over being upset with another guild, to achieve in game goals.

I expect more from all of us than this, it's a bad move and hurts more people's gaming experience than a few people, or one guild. It makes those of us at this level look incredibly immature, and petty to anyone just beginning the game or trying to work to get to this level and I think ALL OF US are so much better than that. I hold both guilds in a high level of esteem, despite individual players who make that tough, and I would like to think we can all get back to playing and ENJOYING the game sometime soon.

If you can't stand PvP or contested PvP on a PvP server I would have to suggest re-rolling on blue. The fact is if the guilds on this server were doing their job - no one would kill a contested mob EVER - and I don't know about you but PvP and contested mobs is the entire reason I left blue servers to come to PvP and it's fun for me. If it isn't fun for you, stop blaming other people, and consider the server you are on.
