I saw his videos, I know how he beats people. spacing in timers, with the handy mezz, stifles, power drains. None of that is available to a dirge. I think I saw you ONCE on your Dirge solo. ONE TIME.. ever.
Dirges dont have the "good control effects" that a troubador has in order to beat anyone that is a caster. Warlocks? Wizards? u can forget about beating those. Healers? give me a beak, unless you have rigid scale, then I dont know how you even hurt one as a dirge. You sure a shit aren't going to burn one down.
I dont have to explain to you how a dirge works, I know you know how it works just fine... it's my comparison between dirge/troubador and troubador wins hands down in solo 1v1 environments, against more classes than the dirge can even make a fight of.
As far as charm/evac? I never said shit about it being a fair fight. He said he NEVER EVER EVER charmed and evac'd against anyone. Yet when fighting a warden in my guild that said, hey guys I'm fighting acolas over here, the 2 minutes it took us to get to him, he got us on track, charmed a guildie, then promptly evac'd.
that's the point I made, dont put words into my mouth.
