Once again Nightwalker, you're completely full of shit. You don't know the first fucking thing about Darkhand and why we left exile it seems.
We are a PvP guild. Darkhand has been around a long time before Everquest 2, and will be around a long time after Everquest 2. What you can't seem to get around your tiny little mind is that the vast majority people that are here for the PvP, aren't going to have the same mentality that other people do for sitting in a raid zone and hoping some asshole can click a button when he's supposed to.
Even with our lack of focus on raiding we still killed pretty much whatever we wanted whenever we wanted. Still to this day, we're killing content and that's having a 4 night a week raid schedule of which we have MAYBE 2 nights with the right classes to fight any of this stuff.
What boggles the mind is that you somehow think that people that come to this server to PvP, with a completely different set of goals in this game are beneath the raiders in this game in skill or dedication. That somehow because you stand around and circle jerk on mobs you kill you deserve a hand up in PvP. Some of these weapons are going to be completely overpowered in PvP vs. the VAST majority of players that came to this game to PvP. The Devs still don't get it. This isn't a blue server. It's not everyone hold hands and lets try to kill mobs. Look at me, I got some crazy fabled shit that completely negates the skill of the player whatsoever.
It's a shame PvP gear sucks so bad. Any asshole that thinks this pvp gear is going to give an advantage is a real moron. The classes that actually NEED the gear like tanks? That armor is completely and utterly insulting.
PvP gear is not attainable in it's current system. I'll likely have more fabled from raid zones on my tank than any PvP gear and I PvP all the time. The rest of the server? LOL.
Oh I know what I need to kill for my mythical. It's all completely doable.. but speaking as the "devil's advocate" for the rest of the eq2 community? They're fucked... and that's not even remotely fair.
Using my uber fabled shit to kill a mob and show off on a blue server is one thing. Using this same overpowered uber fabled shit on other players is something completely different all together that SOE doesn't seem to have a clue about. I'm sure you'll look at it like it makes you better than someone else.
Guess what asshole. It doesn't.
