splintered, weakened, casual guild, roster size... all i see are bullshit excuses from you guys. it's a lot of rhetoric thrown up on these boards to try to protect your guild's reputation from being tarnished... you think that by twisting around the facts (or just outright lying) you can save face with the server when things go badly for you. if Onyx accomplishes something, it instantly becomes the most important thing that ever happened on the server; if Kraken accomplishes something, it means nothing. blah blah blah, whatever dude.
"if we say it loudly, and say it often enough, people will think its true" -- that's always been the onyx way
news flash: the only people you're fooling there are random city faction scrubs who don't know any better (and don't matter, in the big picture). =)

considered #2 by whom? Onyx? grats on, uh, claiming that you're still #1? tbph, both guilds are essentially neck and neck, and if you think 1 dragon here or there proves anything about the overall strength of a guild, then you have a pretty shallow measure of success. i guess it's easier to keep your spirits up that way though, eh?

see above. also, while you're doing that, feel free to explain to me why Silverwing took you an extra 3-4 weeks? if you say "we didn't have the people flagged" one more time, without explaining why running one extra instance of a 5-day lockout flag-mob translated into so much extra strife, you can officially gtfo.
either way, it's 1 mob, and it doesn't prove anything. Onyx's failures on Silverwing can be traced to a lot of poor leadership decisions, but that doesn't mean Onyx sucks overall. Kraken's struggle with Nexona can be traced (sigh... I didn't want to start giving actual reasons lest they be deemed "excuses", but oh well) to a severe lack of bards and enchanters... which we've now fixed. and we have the strat down just fine, it's just a matter of not having the tank get 1 shotted at a hectic point in the fight.

anything to do with Kraken's kills in T8. i was there for every single encounter we struggled to learn, we took pulls on each one until we figured everything out and refined the strats, then executed the strat. nothing before this point in the expansion has been challenging in the least bit (with the exception of maybe Silverwing, which we had figured out the first night we were in there but couldn't get the execution down without some more pulls on it.)
srsly, find yourselves some new mantra to chant when you insult us. i'd rather discuss valid points instead of dealing with a bunch of deflection and misdirection. wading through the sea of bullshit that spews forth from most Onyx members is tiresome.

dropping like flies? huh what? who? where?
...or, as in interesting side note, should we bring up the fact that Nightmares (aka, the former guild leader of Onyx in Boon's absence) couldn't deal with all the internal bullshit in Onyx, finally gave up on trying to lead you grabbastic morons, and joined Kraken recently... only to grudgingly give up and go back to Onyx, after your members pleaded with him to come back, because his old guild was so close to falling apart in the leadership vacuum that existed that he couldn't bear to watch it happen and lose so much of his personal investment. Nightmares, we talked for awhile in vent and you definitely seem like a down to earth dude, and I wish you well in any of your future endeavours, but leading that guild is a heavy burden for anyone to bear and I'm actually kind of interested to see if you can turn them around. best of luck. =)
