I put this on eq2 forums, but they just need to create faction specific writ givers in opposite parts of the map such that if you complete a writ, you most likely need to go elsewhere to get your update.
For example, in KP, put FP writ giver in Highton, Q writ giver at Dreg's. The most likely fighting spot is then at Teren's Grasp, but the victors temporarily have to disengage to get their writ update.
In Fens, put FP in Rillis and Q in Bathezid's watch
In KJ, put Q in Outer Sebilis and FP in Jinisk
In JW, put FP in Danak and Q at the zone in from KP
In the end, spacing out the Q and FP writ givers and having a sokokar point between the turnins promotes zone control. While x4s maybe would still try and duke it out, due to the distance apart writ givers are, groups are easier to travel together with. I think the new writs are spot on in terms of what is needed, as nearly every group v group fight will complete the writ, but the execution of allowing both FP and Q to turn in their writs at the same place is the real problem with the writs. The actual writ isn't harder, but the fact that you can't just be lazy and hit blue aes while spam hailing the writ giver adds some justification for the reward.
