Ya. They'd stay factioned, and join a guild that's barely progressing. Have a huge hard time getting the gear, which is all they want. Rather than just exiling, joining kraken or onyx, and clearing content w/ easy and not having to compete (heavily) for drops.
Like it or not, until another guild on this server makes some sort of stance raid wise, everyone who wants to raid will always app to Onyx or Kraken. It's just the circle of life. And even if Purity or someone else catches up, it'll just be the "big 3" like back in the day. People don't join mediocre guilds to raid. Not people serious about raiding anyway. Sure you can spam the forums and say 'we're gonna make a super awesome raid guild'.. and sure you'll get stupid fucks you've never heard of to say 'omgz i want to raid, i've always wanted to!' .. but then when you're only filling out a x1.5 for a labs raid, you realize it's pointless.
