Anyone that plays eq2,and attends fan faires is a total nerd. What do you even do at them faires besides watching a costume contest, and listen to the devs talking about fucking up the game more ???
Also seeing ugly ass chics in Fiorne Vie skimpy clothes, and fat fucks holding beer steins with loin clothes on.

It's called morbid curiosity. You know, like staring at a car wreck after it happens. You're pissed as hell that people are looking, but when you get there you can't help but look yourself.
Saying something like "there's tons of things better to do" is surely a reality, yes, but man it would be pretty funny to see some of these assclowns IRL. There's also some pretty cool people out there. Wraath and Doobers, and a few others and I were going to meet up in Vegas last year, but I think the closer it came we were like, wtf why? hahah. We all had excuses, like I'm broke, but if we really wanted to, vegas is a cheap ass flight.
If I lived 20 minutes from Fan Faire I would go just to see wtf it is. I would like to think the crowd on Nagafen is a bit different than the rest of the blue servers, but in reality it probably isn't.
I'd probably spend about 20 minutes there staring in complete fascination at just how much of a loser someone can be. But then again, who am I to judge? If that's people's thing, let them have it. I will laugh at them sure, but whatever... the trip would end up like every other vegas trip, wondering how I was able to function so drunk, and either; where did all my money go, or have a fat chunk of change in my pocket.
