Do people get more serious in late tiers?
I realize that some people consider getting something done that appears difficult constitutes having fun. I simply don't understand how this alone can be the measure. I agree, it's a required element but personally I think there’s a lot more to it than that. I like cracking jokes, making fun of people, being sarcastic, I've been known to charge an x4 epic solo because I thought it'd be funny (only with no one watching though), and if I see a level 70 frp that’s a general or better running around solo I'm going to attack them with no chance of winning because its amazing how quick I can die sometimes and I just find it funny.
I don't know, I was in a group last night with some level 70's alts and I'm not sure if it was just the fact that I've never grouped with them before or the comfort level just wasn't there but at some point I wasn't sure that my /p was working. I wasted some really good material. It also could've been that we just didn't find the same things funny, whatever…in that case I can deal, but they just seemed so serious about it. It was all business. It got a little better toward the end so maybe it was just a pick up group trying to organize and I was being too much of a dork. I just want to know, is it all business at lvl 70? Is that all too common or is it something else?
I also wanted to mention that while I love the ACT parser, I'm sick of people publishing the parse after every battle we win. Come on guys if we're winning and the content is moving along at a good pace, who cares? I'm always in the top two of the parse yay for me but sometimes people aren’t geared well and they aren’t slacking, just not parsing well and the whole group turns into a huge pissing contest and everything goes all business even though we were winning in the first place.
My point is, I'm confident enough to be serious about half the time if that. Not just in the game in life in general. If I start to fail I start to get more serious. It seems like every group I've been in lately is perma serious. I'm not going to be cliche and say it’s just a game rather I just wanted to say, guys lighten up
