well its more of a toss up if you ask me, that much +spell damage adds quite a bit of dps.

IMO plasma wand is supremely superior to Soulfire wand. It adds base damage whenever it procs and seems to be up constantly. Add on top of that that +spell is calculated after base damage procs just multiplies its usefulness.

In a warlock group I would say you're not getting nearly enough out of the symbols especially if you're getting 65 from the impaler since the damage range is fairly similiar between the symbols and the staff. Also take into consideration that you get 2 separate proc chances where the staff you only get 1.

probly just need a bigger sample tbh

was taken from just protectors - no wipes to extend the amount of minutes fighting :P

want frigid piercer anywho :D

Gonna go ahead and say I think Bloodthirsty Choker wtf pwns just about everything else for the neck slot. 10% base increase to all spells as well as procs makes it pretty sweet. Really makes the Frigid Piercer hit alot harder especially when it crits.

Im confused, I was laboring under the belief that the Bloodthirsty was BOE dmg not Base damage "Increases damage from spells and combat arts by 10%", if it was base damage wouldnt it say "increases base damage from spells...."
