Yea, well I'm too lazy to open up the knowlege book or my inv for anything that I use with any sort of regularity =/

Only the middle 3 hotkey bars are for combat...everything else is for buffs/misc/utility/armor. A bunch of the combat spells are macro'd as well to save space/time. I click everything so I prefer some space between hotkeys....I could never do those monster blocks of hotkeys all stacked together like I see in some of your UIs.

Well it's just weird looking..and i hvae all 10 hotbars on my /points to her pic post and it does me...maybe it's the Vista..maybe it's the default....MAYBE IT'S BOTH!!!

Well, for me the default EQ2 ui is one of the best I have seen in any mmo.
I see no reason to have all my hotkeys on the screen. Or other unnecessary information, such as stats etc.
Chat windows fade off etc

WOW. What happens if you want to LB or use a swarm pet or root/fear/stun/sprint/rez or anything that you don't have up there?? Do you raid or solo? You don't even have the tainted heals spells up, but you do have the heal/ani transferance so I assume you act as a backup healer in a group maybe? I applaud the attempt at minimizing but I just don't understand how you could function well with so much missing lol

I can agree that having the stats up isn't all that necessary except to quickly see if you're missing some buffs in raid, but more hot bars are definitely needed to be up for maintaining spell rotations and using those little extras to boost dps (master strikes, lifeburn, tide, temp spells, power taps just in case). Unless you can quickly open your spell book and cue the spell before your last one is done casting then you're hurting your own dps.
I have 2 chat windows with tabs, one is regular chat, outgoing/inc dmg, lvl chat, and loot...the other is guild chat and summoner channel (which you constantly have to watch to keep retards from putting dumb ideas into new summoners' heads). But I do have those set to fade out.

Lol, ok...I guess I now understand why you guys have all your hotbars all over the screen....do you guys actually mouse click for every action you do ?
Try this out: Shift+1 ...Shift+2...Shift+3 etc....I have all my spells I need on different pages, I use max 2 clicks on my keyboard to cast a spell, instead of moving your mouse over to the preferred spell.
Also, I have 3 chat windows up.... guess I have to post another ss of my ui with F10 enabled, so you get the idea...since most of the stuff is hidden.

of course i mouse click, if you look all my left hand hot bars are attacks, pets, heals and shit..in an order so it's easy...click click click click..stand there, dont' die...click click click..

very easy and gives you one hand free to do "other things"
