The idea was ok, but the implementation was all wrong with the ooze pet, some of the melee debuff stuff and ae effectiveness debuffs should have been given to the tier 8 scout pet instead (holy crap maybe actually giving it a situational usefulness SOE) and make the ooze pet into more of a defiler type pet with some toned down debuffs and wards/heals while still allowing it to do some dps...albeit a minimal amount.

there it is.. spec for blood pact(aoe immunity) and send it in. it debuffs in both regular numbers and in %'s. has some debuffs i have not seen in game like the *double attack* debuff, it would seem pretty cool when mobs are double attacking for 10 k. BTW you are officially utility now and will have to hear other casters say things like *my dps is more important* when you try to roll on gear

Never said it was the only reason - just indicated it was helpful in response to someone else saying it was helpful in another fight.

Nor did I start the thread - if you have some personal issues with the pet by all means never use it.

I think we are all agreed that either it has no usefulness or very very very limited usefulness. But considering 10 or so AAs when maxed out are useless anyway, /shrug why not spec for it.

agreed any necro who dint spend the point to have ooze pet is full of foolish pride. having said that we are not a debuff class, thats why SoE gave us a mythical DPS pet and not a debuff pet

I really like the idea of doing away with the ooze pet and adding the ability elsewhere.

I think I'd like to see it swapped with the endline ability in the AGI aa line. So gravecalling could have an instant pet rez for any pet and agi would have the uber debuff for the scout pet. May or may not piss conjys off to lose the instant recast pet, but they'd gain a use for the scout.

AGI line is the summoner AA tree only necros get a debuff pet.

Debuff pet is EoF tree - BUT your idea of changing the pet rez to work on any pet is intriguing.
