QFE. Plus, ditch the pally for an Illusionist in the caster group, the pally isn't doing anything.

If we had an active Illy, believe me, he'd be there.

At least one of your necro's problems is also that he's scout pet spec'd :P

Re: Question for all you raiding necro's...
Maybe they have a bad troub and/or a bad LB healer.
That does happen, simply having a troub in the group is not the answer if the troub is not running the proper set up for them.

I have an alt troub I run about 50:50 on raids now and can say you would have to be brain dead to not be running the proper set up. Concentration slot management is VERY simplistic for a troub even in a mixed grouped.
And even without LBs they should regularly be hitting 3K+ since max LB is about 800 dps for me raidwide.
Here is my list of possibilities:
1.) They have very crappy PCs with lots of lag that even on the lowest setting is locking up and preventing a smooth casting order, this has happened to me with some of my laptops.
2.) They have no clue as to the proper casting order and are haphazardly mashing their DDs and DOTs after they fling their pitifully spec'd pet forward.
3.) Either someone isnt calling AEs or they have no clue what to do, but their pets are dying OFTEN.
4.) Their gear outright blows, they have no masters.
My guess is that is a mix of all of the above.
I now believe there is only so much to do to rehabilitate players who suck. After a certain point, which comes quick, they are a lost cause and its best to move on, be respectful and courteous to their feelings and boot 'em from an active roster slot.
PS-IMHO you need to be very clear what the expectations are for them, give them 5-6 raids to improve and direct them to this site if needed for advice (although by posting this you might have blown your anon). Being a cocksucker about it, which many guilds resort to, will backfire...

Re: Question for all you raiding necro's...
It also depends on the fight and where you're at....you have to be aware of the environment ;)
in a zone, say kor-sha temple or protectors, they should be doing no less than 3k with the exception of 1 or 2 fights in those zones.

Re: Question for all you raiding necro's...
The healer is phenomenal and the troub is decent, knows when to pop PotM, when to have what buffs on, how to AA spec, etc.
The PC is not the issue. I talked to him at length, and it sounds like his casting order is correct.
I agreed with the Scout pet problem orginally, but I ran my Conjy through Tier 1/Tier 2 and parsed very very well, even with scout pet out. I told him to go get an AA mirror and run a mage pet and see if it helps him.
We have three people running ACT timer's and calling jousts and ae's, and he says he uses blood pact everytime one is about to hit.
His gear is decent, he has the Scout pet mastered and the Mage pet ad3'd, as well as several DoT's.
I refer all of our players to this site every raid. I preach EQ2 Flames more than I tell healers to cure. I have no problem revealing who I am, that's not my goal.
Our melee DPS'ers are all top notching, hitting 5-6k plus. We have two excellent mage DPS'ers, a Wizzy and Conjy who both parse 4-6k plus. Our other wizzy and necro are having some problems imo.

Mostly referring to Protector's and Kor Sha. We are working on Venril atm, and in between nights working on him we rerun Tier1-Kor Sha.

I use mage pet myself on raids using /pet range but I'm debating if I want to go melee or not and see how that goes, but I don't do too bad it just depends on whats going on, what also hampers their dps is if they're using macros to cast 2 spells, I did that, and when I went back to clicking single spells my dps shot up 100%... bloodpact will also save their pets if they tend to die to AEs, they don't have to run it all the time, but just anticipate an AE, its better to lose 2 seconds of DPS (ehh don't want to lose any at all) than it is to lose 5+ seconds just recasting your pet alone

Re: Question for all you raiding necro's...
If you have a mage-style group and you run the scout pet, you are losing DPS. Troubador + Mage pet = yes, Troubador + Scout pet = NO.
