You can't expect to top the parse as a Necro this expansion unless the Rogues, Predators, Conjurors and Sorcerers fail, because tbh the class has been rather badly overlooked. However;
1) Lifeburn no longer does enough DPS to rip aggro no matter when you use it. There's absolutely no need to wait for the mob to be at 50% when a single autoattack from the tank can do as much as a lifeburn tick. You'll maximise your DPS if you can hit LB the instant it's back up (and hopefully get bolstered and jcapped at the same time), and your real concern should be making sure it ticks for the full duration before the mob dies.
2) Get the wis/sta siphon early on in your cast order. It's not gonna make your dps skyrocket but it's sloppy from a raid perspective to not debuff, and the extra sta gives you a little more lifeburn damage. Of course what will help your dps is if the whole raid debuffs wis and disease as much as possible, and to do that they need to be in the mindset that debuffs are a good thing rather than a drain on their personal dps.
3) If you're not already done it set /pet melee instead of /pet ranged and quickly summon the pet behind the mob at the start of the fight, so it swings between casts. With a mythical raid having CoB up constantly, having yourself and your pet meleeing is gonna contribute at least a few hundred extra DPS, and proc Gluttony/Fae Pyre/other stuff more. You also want to be stood behind the mob in melee range when casting dumbfires so they don't waste time travelling to the target or die to frontal/ripostes. In short you want yourself and your pet behind the mob and in melee range asap.
4) Speaking of Gluttony, don't precast it, the cast time and duration is pretty short and you want the pet already in position and casting+meleeing before using it.
5) It's obvious, but get the Illu in your group. Try to get casters to put spare buffs on your pet. The way summoners get really good parses is by exploiting the fact they can proc PoTM/CoB/Gift and other buffs 2x as much as classes that don't have a pet and hence a lot of the DPS relies on these buff classes being mastered and played/geared well, rather than the summoner themself. It's unfortunate but the difference between parsing 3k and 7k can often be almost completely out of your hands.
