Duoing twin necros

My wife and I have a duo of necros. We currently have them set up as one spec'd tank pet, the other for mage pet. We don't group very often right now, just run quests mainly. Would it be better to have both of us running tank spec. Equipment is mainly quest gear, most spells are adept. Pets are adept 3. Currently they are in the 30s, but have adept 3 pets for the lvl 40s. Thanks

Tank and mage is a good idea, or tank and scout if you are doing more single target shit. Make sure the one of you that's tankin gets spec'd for Tainted Heals to keep the tank pet up, and use almost ALL manipulation spells so you won't rip aggro off the pet. Makes for really slow burns, but you can take down big shit that way. I'm probably rehashing info you already know, but ....

Also remember that you can toggle the mortality mark spell and it's pretty fast casting as well as the darkness line so those will help keep your pet at full life with Tainted Heals, pet heals, and heals from the other necro here and there.
