wow i dont think there is one raiding guild that can handle vp or tso who are looking for necromancers. SOE sure does need to fix the class we are no longer needed.

When were we ever needed? I'm only on VP raids as i can FD and click shiny's, statues, hail a mob, pull levers :D

But agree, SoE need to give Necros some love..maybe conjies to...but Necros more...

I dont care what class you are if its the best or the worst... if you know how to do the best the class has to offer you will get a raid spot.

If you are looking for a guild that can clear all of TSO and avatar you will need some contacts but as for any run of the mill guild clearing half the TSO mobs and all RoK there should not be any issue.

Could be worse. If you would have picked a conjy you'd be happy if you get invited to a raiding guild. Not much love there for conjyes. Apart from casting shards and COH'ing ppl.

So it could be worse.

wrong.. there is no class worst then necro right now.

conj has better power items and coth, not to mention up front dmg(not dots for the most part) and plane shift dont require a healer to blow up the parse( well come in 3rd or something :P )

I don't think anyone's denying that it's the player that makes the class. But it doesn't matter how good you are and how well you play if noone ever gives you the chance to shine. You could be a Necro God - doesn't mean the guild in question is going to give you a chance at a raid slot since the stigma about our class deters 95% of them.

And the other 5% probably already have a necro :P.

We need to be fixed, there's not much question to that. But, things could certainly be much worse than they are.

heh.. im trying to start raiding my necro again now. trust me with out a stacked group and key gear items your a wasted slot in raid.

on the other hand in heroic content my necro does pretty good. was kinda hoping it would carry into raids but no such luck.

Our guild runs with a Necro and no Conj... Is never sat and always has a consistent parse. One of our very solid players.

Utopi is correct. Regardless of what class you play, it all boils down to how much you understand your toon and it's purpose on a raid. Just because Necro's don't have anything that jumps out at a raid leader that says "holy shit take me with you or you'll fail..." It is up to you as a player to make yourself an asset to the raid, that then bitch about shortcomings.
