Well you dont really need more mana as a necro, it is almost unlimited as is. The disruption, proc, more hp, and especially the crit mit are all reasons the Aramid is better.

Kinda silly question when you look at all that it offers...And the casting speed is meh, we cast fast as is.

Your group members will thank you for wearing Aramid, unless you have access to an Illy. Either way, Aramid is better DPS for the most part.

it depends on the rest of your gear too. i would not give up any t2 shard set bonus for that robe and shard robe seems better anyhow.

Aramid proc is description say "On a Successfull Atack", so I think it's only for melee fight. Almost all the time I have Mythical pet out and he is caster. This is why I'm not sure.

Or can anyone confirm this proc work even for Spell attack?

IF u are able to obtain either of these 2 robes then getting the shiny metallic robes should not be any problem for u either.
And its proc makes these and much other robes look bad if dps is what ur looking for.

Yes, im looking mainly for DPS because raiding its my primary focus.
I have Metalic already in my bank. But... check this topic, Metalic isn't listed. I think is good for Sorcerers but not that good for summoners.
