The cloak is retarded but the endline blessing/miracles are worth having. The whole diety questline takes all of like 30 minutes anyways.
Hardest part is going back and forth to freaking TD... but now we have that nifty barrel to butcherblock I suppose.

problem with Flurry is that it's only 25s. for 25s it probably beats any Bertox special. 1/3 DA can be counted as +1/3 dps of let's say 9k = 3kdps.

as for Bertox miracles, Pox of Bertox is not the optimal choice imo - Bertox Curse (50% dmg for 1min) beats it - unless you're popping Pox of Bertox in combination with 50% blessing for extra 15% disease debuff. but that's only if you're mauling thru tank-n-spank bosses that are on farm, otherwise it's putting all your eggs in one basket.

now, there is a HUGE PROBLEM with 50% dmg Bertox miracles - they don't fucking do anywhere near 50% increase - you can see that here: http://www.eq2flames.com/necromancer...mg-broken.html

which is actually why i started this thread to begin with - to see if there are options that would work better until this abortion hopefully gets fixed - altho for some reason very few seem to care about our spot in the sun. /boggle. how about more response to this crap.

but even in this bugged state, it still appears to be a roughly 2k dps boost for the duration for me (around 8-9k without).

Anashti under-20% proc doesn't come close to 2k dps boost on paper. unless it's bugged and in reality does more than advertised. 817 on each spell adds up to about 400dps. let's say even 500dps to account for proc being scaled by base damage.

Anasti cloak is not better than Cloak of Flowing Power, sorry.

Ok, let's compare the cloaks first

I see on the flowing power cloak, 2 spell crit and a proc that does 690 dmg 2.0 times a min

Deity cloak is, 5 spell crit proc lasts 10 secs goes off 1.8 times a min, and a proc that does 664 dmg.

I guess I fail to see how the flowing power is actually better?

The miracles and blessings are hard to compare cause you can't really parse them in conjunction. Crippling blow says 901 dmg for me, which if you think about it is where you see most of the use in them anyways on named fights. But its ANY successful attack, so melee, sneezing, anything.

Touch of Decay does on any disease dmg, while almost all of our spells it still doesn't compare especially since it seems to be based on the +spell mod cap where the other is a straight proc.

The other 10 min blessing for anashti is 501 dmg on spell attack, which is another decent buff

I can't attest to the miracle yet as I haven't had time to really test it, but 33 spell DA is huge. 25% spell crit is huge, and if you're melee'n there's the 20% flurry too.

But guess that's just me.

Cloaks: let's say procs are even. 1.8x min for 10secs is less than 1/3 uptime, 5% / 3 = 1.6% crit vs 2% crit on Flowing Power. Add in hitpoints and 1 disruption, it's no contest for Flowing Power.

Necroes (me) cast between 33 and 40 spells a min. 2-3 melee swings at most if sequence is solid. That makes Crippling Blow of 900dmg around 500-600dps. +50% disease damage in it's TOTALLY FUCKING BUGGED STATE (complain here if you care http://www.eq2flames.com/necromancer...mg-broken.html) is about 2k dps on top of 8-9k base.

501dmg on spell attack is 250-300dps. not a competitor.

Flurry is huge dps boost, but only for 25s. The +25% crit is not that big, most geared necroes won't even use all of +25. but 1/3 DA is pretty much +1/3 dps, so let's put it at +3k. It still comes in below the dps of 50% dmg for 1min.

I'm actually fairly interested in this since I noticed your miracle broken post and whatnot. Half of me wants to try out Anashti Sul, but the other half of me realizes I'm far to damn lazy to do all the diety quests over, especially if I find out I should have stuck with bert, and have to switch back again.

The 25s doesnt seem worth it, even if it is huge... its only 25s. I would assume(which is probably never a good thing) that the longevity would win out with berts stuff. Same goes for the 10 minute buffs. Anashti sul you can only use it when the mob is under 20% health... in most situations you probably wouldnt utilize the full ten minutes.

So I guess the real questions are... just how busted are the bert blessings/miracles.
Are they worth bailing on? Since I highly doubt SOE will change anything in the future...
And are they really broken at all?

I wish I was motiviated to go out and parse some of this crap, but I'm not... someone else do it
