Someone in summoner channel said they switched to Anashti and emphatically claimed she was better than Bertox. What am I failing to see about her miracles that would make me go ga-ga?

I think I rather stick with Bertoxxulous on my necromancer.

Touch of Decay - Increases the damage of all disease based spells by 50% for 10 minutes.

Pox of Bertoxxulous - Inflicts 633-754 disease damage
inflicts 545 to 666 disease damage every 12 seconds
heals caster for 157, heals caster for 69 every 12 seconds,
increases power of caster by 69 instantly and every 12 seconds
decreases target's effectiveness of worn armor vs disease
by 15% for 2 minutes.

while nice you need to compare the anashti versions of both. The flurry replaces the dot, imo that's an upgrade

the replacement to the 50% is the nuke under 20% health. Not sure, but I believe its 2k per hit, since most people only really use miracles/blessings for named fights I would say this is a wash, as the damage would be about the same.

And the cloak hands down is better, fairly easy to get, and is up there in quality. Drape of the void is about the only thing I can think right off top of my head that is better.

TBH i don't even use god abilities anymore like i use to in RoK.
my necro can sustain solid T1 dps with the miracles for 10 mi or so.

Who wouldn't want an extra 50% to disease spells for 10 minutes... even if it is janky.

Throw it up when you're chain pulling trash or something.

I use those two things all the time. Usually the blessing for trash and the miracle on names, I mean might as well right? Extra damage is extra damage.

k, the conversation about ppl not using miracles has no point to continue. if you dont want use everything in your power... ok.

problem with Flurry is that it's only 25s. for 25s it probably beats any Bertox special. 1/3 DA can be counted as +1/3 dps of let's say 9k = 3kdps.

as for Bertox miracles, Pox of Bertox is not the optimal choice imo - Bertox Curse (50% dmg for 1min) beats it - unless you're popping Pox of Bertox in combination with 50% blessing for extra 15% disease debuff. but that's only if you're mauling thru tank-n-spank bosses that are on farm, otherwise it's putting all your eggs in one basket.

now, there is a HUGE PROBLEM with 50% dmg Bertox miracles - they don't fucking do anywhere near 50% increase - you can see that here: http://www.eq2flames.com/necromancer...mg-broken.html

which is actually why i started this thread to begin with - to see if there are options that would work better until this abortion hopefully gets fixed - altho for some reason very few seem to care about our spot in the sun. /boggle. how about more response to this crap.

but even in this bugged state, it still appears to be a roughly 2k dps boost for the duration for me (around 8-9k without).

Anashti under-20% proc doesn't come close to 2k dps boost on paper. unless it's bugged and in reality does more than advertised. 817 on each spell adds up to about 400dps. let's say even 500dps to account for proc being scaled by base damage.

Anasti cloak is not better than Cloak of Flowing Power, sorry.
