Default PvP resists

Out of curiosity, when it comes to pvp and root/stun/fear - The subjugation spells - what would be more important to have to drop the resists of the target, a higher disruption or a higher subjugation? Is there a particular mit that helps the target that could potentially be debuffed (as if we had any that are particularlyhelpful) or no?

CC resists depends on who's casting. A chanter will check against mental resists, while our own chains check against nox iirc. All of them are subjugation based though, so you might want to aim for such a debuff if you can. Beware the limited effectiveness of casting skill debuffs though. I'm not a PvPer myself, but IMHO, the best thing you can do is prevent him from casting altogether. Use your tank pet, and stun/fear yourself all you can.

Figured the pet tank might be a little better than mage.. Still, I'm wondering if the skill of Subjugation should be higher to get fear/stun/root to land, or if Disruption is the name of the game when it comes to pvp. Using A3s and M1s and getting constantly resisted on Horror and Chains of Eternity makes me a very sad panda when I'm up against a scout class.

For any subjugation based spells, and that includes our CC arsenal, Subjugation is the name of the game. It makes them harder to resist. But don't expect hit rates like on PvE.

This is a wierd suggestion, but it works for my coercer and troubador (both PvP) use the lower level spells. They resist less.

So I'm still relegated to being the bitch for scouts, unless by some miracle fear lands. :D

I expected nothing less from SoE, but one could have hoped, heh. Now to find more subjugation+ gear...
