what am i supposed to do when i can't get a group for my epics and things?

because of shite like this i can't get my epic updated, it seems i'll never get the dragonscale cloak

i have all t1 shard armor, all my spells are adept 3 (mainly because there is no soulrot masters or my 4 main casting spells available on broker or in trade

so what am i supposed to do? wait till SOE gets off their tails and fix us Necro's, or am i doomed to play alts the rest of my eq2 career?

my Sig should show what gear i have...

all i can say is keep trying get your name out there if you can put up good numbers you will find a grp. it can be very hard at times.ive gotten into several pugs and at the end there allways like way you can dps for being a necro

Ya it can be rough finding groups as a necro, even if you're a decent necro. We've aquired a very negative stigma.

Basically just keep shooting people tells when they're looking for dps. My biggest suggestion would be make sure you're running a parse(ACT). Watch your dps and make sure you're doing everything you can with your gear to make it better. Your best bet is to try to get into t2 gear if you're not currently raiding and run zones that have nice fabeled drops. Theres a gear list with some really good information in it.

Keep sending those tells, eventually you'll get groups and get the gear that will help you earn a name for yourself as a decent parsing necro.

It's just a much slower process for this class

I know the feeling and it sucks... before I had transferred from Butcherblock to Crushbone I had made a decent name for myself and was able to get groups. Now I am starting all over on crushbone, although in a much better guild, its still tough to get groups as a summoner.

I get shit like that often, the other day i need Abbey and I wasn't given tandem or time compression from an illusionist (we had a bruiser, defiler, coercer,illusionist,fury and me necro) I ended up constantly out parsing everyone in the group by 500-1.5k aside from the coercer who was close sometimes.

why lately i generally just make the groups myself with guildies.

my LFG adds usually say: 80 necro lfg top parse on names or i don't roll on loot PST

that way people know my necro is solid dps. yes i have had to turn down loot before, even a necro master once since i was in a fully myth/raid geared group but for the most part i do come in top parse on names =p

because of my guild status (crafters) we have to get outside groups to raid (which I've rarely ever been on). thus we ourselves never raid.
i try to play at least 5 or 6 or more hours a night but it's still hard when i'm doing the best i can and everyone would rather play by numbers than by the fun content.
