I know that there are not that many of us pvp necros and I am just starting out my necro but was wondering whats your strategy..and pet you prefer? I seem to do better whith mage and scout pet over tank pet.....scout pet stifles and mage pet seems to do more damage to me. Im only 38 and have adept 1 tank...master 1 scout and mage which might make a difference but just checking. And I know this is flames and someone is bound to start some crap and flameing ect (eqflames) lol so let me get it started with those who want to post something stupid
But i would like to know from my fellow necros the pet issue and strategies...normally I start with a root, sick pet dots stun then try lifeburn or if stun breaks go for fear then lifeburn then my lifesteal spells when close or otherwise just keep casting dots chain and fear or stun when they come up.
If im soloing i generally try to get a fear/stun followed by consume/gluttony (spell you dont get til 52+ believe). Ill generally lifeburn quick then cast unresistable nuke then the quick ticking dot at your level (soulrot is t8).
I enjoy the necromancer in pvp in groups, although mine is currently undergeared compared to my swashbuckler its an awesome feeling casting lifeburn and seeing a healer or tank been blown up.

Im curious as how the necro stands up in PvP at different tiers. Is survivability good? Do you frequently get eaten up by scouts in 2 seconds? Do necros have enough utility to be considered a good asset for a pvp group?
