Just shooting off the cuff here...
My necro is an alt on my second account. Love the class, but can't see it ever becoming my main as I prefer the Mystic and the whole healing thing.
One thing I have always wondered is where the necro fits in a raid group. I mean sure they are decent DPS, but wouldn't it make more sense to bring a wiz or warlock or even a coercer if DPS was your goal? There is no niche that the necro seems to fill in the raid group.
So that got me to thinking, what could be done to make the necro a raid "must have" class.
understand this is just thinking way out there:
What if there was a spell that allowed us to turn our pet into a buff. Absorb Essence or some such. The main stat for that pet becomes a single target buff. The tank pet becomes a HP or Stamina buff, the caster a spell dmg/crit buff, the assassin becomes a CA/DPS buff. Single target, raid wide and the buff is equal to the attribute of the pet +/- some modifier.
Just a thought.
