Why do people think the fury should go in the mage group still? Arent most mages maxed on int, making the fury buff worthless? They offer nothing to mages and take advantage of mage buffs for their own dps...Fuck furys.

Because alot of raid leaders are still inept at proper group builds.

I'll admit that 99% of summoners suck, so yes, my situation is not the norm. There are reasons the devs have been satisfied with summoner's DPS and don't plan on a coercer scale revamp, and getting blown away on parses isn't one of them.

There is often no where else to stick them, as no group wants them.
The only thing good I saw out of the plan for the next expansion was to make druid HoTs a little better, but they're also likely to get hosed on crit multipliers and be taken down a notch on DPS potential.

actually the reason summoners are not reciveing a "coercer like revamp" is because Dev's are idiots and are trying to fix the problem with pet specific gear when in reality all they had to do was share stats...

The fact is summoners are not "supposed" to beat talented sorcerers in their respected single target (wizard) and ae (warlock). We are a nice middle ground but can we compete? Hell yeah. Last night I put up a 40k single target and 50k ae in palace with UT and tandem with a zw of 19.3k. The wizard put up a 20k zw. Anyone who says necro's cant parse are full of shit but if you are beating your wizard single target and warlock ae...your sorcers might have a mild case of down syndrome.

the mentallity my guild has was set by a raid leader who quit on us and also refused to run SoH as it was "last tier" .. .AKAK no loot in there worth for him to do ...

we are back to running that zone and finally getting the byzola cloaks/ill will/ etc we should have had 6+ months ago.

Wait..so...no where else to put the fury cuz no one wants it? Well no shit, the mage group doesnt want the fucking fury either! Make them betray to warden so they can actually heal, or replace them with a reccomended healer in mage group. Even the boost to HoTs arent going to help much if the raid is constantly green

And as for being able to parse well as a necro, its possible, if equally geared/skilled wiz, necro, and illy were together with equal buffs, the wizard *should* be able to consistently win on somewhat shorter fights, same with the illy. On longer fights, like Ive always maintained, a necro will out parse both quite easily.

Im fine where my necro's dps is, I dont want utility from brigands like debuffing. Id rather have a less dependence on other fucking classes to heal me during lifeburn, less resistance from the illys to give my pet a god damned tandem, and maybe, just maybe, a TC or UT perhaps from an ench instead of the gimped ass fury who thinks they are dps when I still out parse them and they complain cuz I laugh at them or say they dont care bout dps much, but they still dont out heal me healing myself and my pet.

But, I also dont play a necro anymore, Im a Brigand. So fuck you summoners for sucking balls so bad, your inability to play your class to its full fucking potentional has lead to you still sucking with a new magical debuff equal to the physical debuff of a rogue and still being excluded because only one summoner will be wanted. And by wanted, I mean in a very low priority, included only certain nameds.

yea i hate the *split* devs are doing with the debuffs too. i think they should just give both classes pretty much the same debuff to they can alternate thus effectiveliy giving the necro the second brigs spot. also they should give conj and swash offensive debuffs but better this then waht swash has now.. like serious debuffs to the point where high end mobs(avi,instance boss) will kill the tank if a these offensive debuffs aren't in raid.
