AA Solo Spec

Hi. I'm trying to figure out what the best solo spec would be for a Necro. I assume I'd be relying on the Tank pet so some aspects are obvious. But could someone please put up what a really good solo spec would be for all three trees? I've seached and read a ton of threads and most just list raid specs or bad specs. Thanks!

Basically everything that improves your tank pet. Allthough if you have myth, easier mobs are faster to kill with myth pet.

Tainted heals and STA line (preceptor's command maxed) are essentials imo.

KOS: STA : 4-4-8-8 (or 4-8-8-8) WIZ: 4-4-8-8 (then STR line with what's left)
EOF: Tank Pet 5 TH (max gluttony/root/stun) Rotting (+/- LB)
TSO: health 5 power 5
root 5 shielding 5 (or rot 5) bewilderment 1
summoner: 5-5-5-5-5(DS optional)-0-1
necro: shield of bones 5; wrath of undead servent 2
and whatever else to fill in gaps (i took FD cause i suck)

i didn't take disease mastery cause of fear of stealing agro... might respec and check it out as tank pet is holding agro way better with right gear setup)

I am going to go with my tank pet mostly because the mobs are going to be tough that I'm going against and I need the pet to last a long time. But I am mythical.

i tank trash mobs with myth pet in defense stance and bosses with tank pet in defense stance

Enoa's spec is pretty close, except putting so many points in summoner TSO tree is fucking retarded.

The only good things in there are minion's crit, minion's damage mastery, and dimensional storage.

Put most of your points in the necro tree; get shield of bones 4, cure noxious 5, lifetap 5, feign death 5, disease mastery & wrath of the undead servant. Feign death 5 is essential for training through zones and skipping stupid shit.

You don't need to go balls to the wall solo spec to solo. You don't need to nerf your dps like a down syndrome debbie just to solo. All you need is tainted heals and the tank pet HP & stat buffs, and put the rest into your dps.

My solo spec and my raid spec are strikingly similar, but instead of buffing my warlock pet i buff my tank pet, and instead of getting blood pact(I get it even though its obsolete) I get tainted heals.

Well to each his own obviously, personally i make all effort into not getting agro from my pet, which is impossible with raid spec.

I put priority in +CA +crit for my pet and any extra (pet) proc gear, i have all AA into pet defence and attack skills, ofcourse tainted heals and 100% pet taunt, 3min FD and most important Bewilderment for agro reduction.

Even then i still have to hold back or pull agro, at some boss mobs i even have to turn off lich because with me spamming subj spells the lich adds too much agro.

Additionally i use several "concussive blast" pieces (4 sec stun)which really helps with pet survivability.

1 befuddle proc piece and the claymore mage item which drops me on the agro list every now and then.

Having all this low personal dps gear drops my dps to a point i can actually chain cast most of the time alternating with tainted heals.

With the new agro meter things get a lot easier when controlling agro but even with this setup it is always climbing in realation to my pet. If u choose bewilderment at the right time u can drop that agro meter to near 0 allowing some more dps for a while.

This is all based on me going farming T8 names since for all normal solo content taking off ur choker is enough to burn through it with any spec

great tip:

Casting awaken grave and then casting bewilderment will drop your threat to 1%-3%, even if you are at 99% and right about to pull from your pet
