Took me ahwile to find a cast order that works. but tbh its all up tot he player and the feel he or she or it gets for the class. your prase gets posted and sucks? try soemthing new till it works. But skip the wisdom tree till u have no more useful aa since all the pet bonus's mean nothing thanx to TSO gear that adds better pet buffs. Updating the summoner aa tree was needd and will hopefully be restored to something more useful then spell crit in the near future.

Edit: And also i think i've sussed the dps after every attack summon temp pet debuff what ever use soulrot so it would be rot > consumption > rot > pandemic > rot, ect. I hope this helps

Im in about the same boat as Volga was in, looks like Volga got his myth thou. Gratz! Im working on it thou, I'm also working on upgrading gear.

You as well as any other Necro have the ability to top the parse and beat out any other class. There are many variables involved. Gear, Master leveled spells, AA's, Casting Orders, and Use of Utility classes are to mention just a few. A general rule i have always followed when making choices or deciding on what to do. What will give me more dps? I help out Necros on my server all the time, but i help them understand their class and how it works rather than just giving them straight answers. When deciding on casting orders, always remember that recast time and casting time are as important as the actual damage itself done by a spell. There are other classes, who's purpose is to help you do more dps as well. Gear and AA's ?? Look at eq2players for the Necros in the top guilds and check out their AA trees and see what they wear. Note the common attributes in their gear and ask questions on what those attributes do and how they affect dps and your ability to play your Necro. Another small hint. What do Illusionists, Mystics and Troubadors have in common? I guarantee your high parsing mage guildie knows exactly what they do. If you ever have any direct questions, I am on the BB server and will be happy to answer any specifics you may have.

Zianlo??? Stick with your brigand because you will never make it as a Necro. Half the shit you said doesnt even make sense to even the worst of Necros.

BTW, If your healer doesnt get your LB in the 5 seconds it takes to cast ??? an extra 5 seconds isnt going to make a difference. Change healers. And undead horde??? One of the best spells a Necro has. I use it every chance I get and usually puts me up between 18k to 24k on a parse.

I top the parse in groups and in raid on zonewides, not just individual encounters. So i suck??? Seems like you need to stfu.

Seein as how my main was a necro from about launch til January this year, I am pretty certain I can make it as a necro. I dont see in my post where I said anything about a healer doing lifeburn. That extra 5 seconds is just a courtesy to the healer so they're not like oh shit, the necro is going down...

Undead Horde, imo, is a good spell. Maybe I forgot what I posted, and I dont feel like reading my post again, but Im pretty sure I did not say it sucked....

I didnt bother reading your first post cuz my ADD kicked in after the 2nd line.

And btw, Im swash now, nub necro... You still suck, so stfu.
