Zianlo, You suggest to LB at the beginning of an encounter? No wonder you quit your Necro.

Hopefully you play your Swash better. Since you dont know shit about Necros and how they should be played, DO everyone a favor and stfo of the Necro threads. All you do is make the experienced laugh and the inexperienced confused.

Also, you dont even know who I am, so, again. STFU !!!!

Time your encounters and when using LB, time it so that it ends its 10 seconds near or when the encounter ends. Guaranteed, you will increase your dps bigtime.

I burn in the beginning of fights and try to again at the end if jcap'd and there is enough time to get it off....why wouldn't you do that. The more lifeburns in a zone the better for overall dps

The majority of our fights dont last long enough for two LB's and it has also been my experience that when LB is burnt early, DPS drops back down dramatically, almost to the point where LB would have made any difference to begin with. The most effective point of a fight, that LB makes is at the very end, not the beginning.
If you want to burn twice in one fight (where the fight is long enough), and your healers dont get really pissed off at you, go for it.
Also, when is a Necro able to reburn a mob after it has initially been burned within the same encounter?

Why would it drop your dps if you cast it early? It's not like LB requires debuffs since it's focus, and as long as you get the needed buffs it's gtg. And LB immunity is only like 30 secs, or was it 1 min.

Takes my advice or not it's your choice, but do not tell me when is a good time to burn...pretty positive I am well versed in the ways of dpsing as a necro. It should not drop your overal dps at all, but give more zone wide dps due to more lifeburns in zone and healers are at their prime in the beginning of the fight. The immunity isn't that long it is possible to reburn in a few fights if timed right.

I use the lifeburnz whenever I get jesters cap, if im getting it when the mob is at 90% and my mystic just bolstered me like I asked I'm going to use it lol.

I usually open with bloodcoil, soulrot, pandemic, soulrot, lifetap, soulrot, najenas ring of readiness bloodcoil and bewilderment, and then repeat.. lifeburn inbetween usually after najenas ring if i get it early..

Let's face it -LB aint the shit it once was - however, it is a damn good spike in dps so why not use it? I aint waitin on the Troub to get me J-cap. I'll ask for it but if it aint happenin I'm not gonna pout and say "shucks, no jcap, guess I'll wait till later to burn.

But yeah, give the healer a good "heads up"

I find it best to burn early so you get the full duration if you wait to long you may miss a tick or 2
