Is GU53 going to make the dumbfires worth casting once again?
Like most, my dumbfire spells have fallen way down on a hotbar I rarely use. I was reading through the GU53 notes, and found this
"Pets will no longer be hit by aoe autoattack unless they are considered in front of the attacker. This should in turn make it easier to position pets to avoid it since the avoidance range for them is now flanking or behind instead of just behind."
If you parse the dumbfires on the training dummy actually can put up some "OK" DPS. So then if in a fight with some descent duration where we can position ourselves to the rear or side of the mob our dumbfires might actually be worth casting again... I guess we'll find out for sure on Sept. 22nd, but I'm actually starting to get a little excited about being able to use my dumbfires again, what do ya'll think???
