SWEET!!!!!
UT beats TC by far now.
edit: I actually ran some numbers from my parses to check the actual gains.
Here is some data
Average DPS: ~200.000
Soulrot % from DPS: 12%
Bloodcoil % from DPS: 7%
Pandemic % from DPS: 6%
% of all spells (pet and me) that can double attack from DPS: 52%
DPS gains from 2 extra ticks for each spell:
Soulrot: +35%
Bloodcoil: +26%
Pandemic: +39%
DPS gains per spell from total DPS:
Soulrot = 35% * 12% = 4.2%
Bloodcoil = 26% * 7% = 1.82%
Pandemic = 39% * 6% = 2.34%
-----------------------------------
Total DPS gain from UT in %: 8.36%
DPS gains for 5% SDA:
all spells = 52% * 5% = 2.6%
DPS gain from UT with base of 200.000 DPS = 16.720
DPS gain from TC with base of 200.000 DPS = 5.200
So if you're averaging at about 200.000 DPS in raids, you will actually lose 11.520 DPS if you get TC instead of UT.

yea the only reason TC was better was because of the dot cap. now that it's gone UT >TC. this basically turns soulrot into a beast spell that's up all the time lol
Just for fun I ran the TC vs UT numbers on warlock parses as well just to see if there is a necro + warlock in group, who is getting more out of UT now.
It seems warlocks still lose more DPS with switching to TC from UT than necros do. From my calculations (which are no where precise, since I don't have a sample large enough) it seems that the necro has to do 1.5 times the warlocks DPS in order to actually claim UT as theirs because at that ratio the benefits from UT for necros and warlocks become equal.
