    So what stat caps are necros looking for? (Ability mod, Casting speed, health etc.)

    about 40 abil mod per point of potency, 200% cs in raid, and as much health as you can get

    i'm considering scaling back down at least until their healing catches up with that +100% to healing OP jewerly

    semi-relevant - if you were unsure, Bolstered Attributes and Bolstered Endurance stack. Attribs gives me about 60k solo and Endurance about 70k on 570k HP. I'll have to try to figure out how those numbers change at 1.2m with other HP buffs / procs going, but on surface Attributes >> Endurance (because of the added Int component). I'd probably wear Endurance only on a swap-in item for fights with no adds, otherwise the AE-auto rune too strong

    How are you finding self healing during lifeburns in solo situations?

    I find it i have to pop almost of my healing abilities to keep up

    So its practically impossible to solo heal yourself during lifeburn when you have >500k ish HP?

    Transfer Life really needs to about double in power It would be a decent compromise for the newly boosted value of Lifeburn to have to help healers heal ourselves thru it. In its current state TransferLife helps, but not even enough especially with inquisitors if they're not 100% focused on it

    this specifically addresses what i have been wondering
    after sitting most of last expansion out i havent been up with the changes
    so i was sitting around 700k+ in a group with 2 necros and he had over 25k in ability mod and half my hp ( i have the bolster runes) and he was consistantly doing 10-15% more dps than me in about 80% of the fights.
    im going to try out dropping some health and increase my casting speed closer to 200

    what i do not understand is how the amod of 40 per % pot came up. I was under the impression of the old rules. is there something im missing in that?

    that's just a rule-of-thumb number that someone came up with based on your roughly-assumed stats

    best way, as always, is to reforge and test it yourself. of course it's now extra complicated with our potency being drastically different during raid than solo.
