You obviously misread what I wrote. I think its a great idea. I hope they get alot of offers I mean 140pp for a whole set thats awesome. When I wrote that I was looking at my druids t5 set and how its gonna take me awhile to get it and wish I could spend gold to do so :P

(Seriously, I think I still got a lot of plat, and it would be really funny for me, a quitter, to have a full set of EoF Fabled even though I don't play.) I'm pretty sure I got EoF for free when they activate my account again, too, but I should probably double check that.

(Also ... the dates are Oct 30, 31 and Nov 1 ... but you're announcing the winners a month later, Nov. 29?)

I was dumb, that's supposed to be October 29th. When I posted I had a brain-fart and posted dates as November 30-31, december 1st, lol. Forgot to change the 1 bit.

Too late, nobody wants a set that will be obsolete in 2 weeks. And everyone wants to keep their plat.

So nice ploy but you'd have to find a total idiot to take you up on this offer.

Maybe, we got paid 200plat this week for letting some guy get his SoD update even though its pretty close to the expansion. 140ish plat for SoD update AND full set of EoF gear doesnt sound to bad IMO

I have to say the SoD update opportunity is definitely a kind gesture. As is the opportunity for gear.. but... I would hope you do advertise who does win the set piece opportunities because I'd like to know who would blow that much plat and not work for it like the rest of the raiding folk on nek. Plat to buy gear does not make you a decent raider in the least and I think the community would benefit from knowing those winners and give me an idea on who not to invite on my raids. Plat does not buy skill.
