does ccomming back make any sense, based on these reasons?

okay, so i quit because i was upset with the rampant corruption at SOE that got unleashed back in march/april, showing the companies true colors. but, since i have been generally doing more of other stuff, and paying a bit more attention to the financial news than the broker, i have come to realize that just about every for profit company in america has this same shit at some level, and it's all coming to a climax of whoop ass now. so, my reasons for quitting are completely thrown into the shitter. how's the new expansion, did anyone miss me? should i just read the live updates before reinstalling the game to catch up on whats going on like i always do, or is there a better way now?

PS: im probably going to sleep on this for a week, but im pretty sure of what im going to do. i'll see you in hell

IMO the xpac is pretty damn good. From what i hear the raid encounters are pretty good and there are a ton of group instances as well to fill that RoK void of constant soloing.

In my opinion (its still early and i havent done alot with it) but this expansion pack sucks.

im having fun with it so far.. many of the group instance encounters are much more than just tank and spank, and figuring them out is pretty fun.. except the buggy-ish ones that pwn you all for no reason.. raid encounters are ok so far, but the loot is kinda meh atm and there are bugs there too that cause some headaches.. there is a TON of content tho, much more imho than rok to keep you busy, and while im a raider i do appreciate the massive amount of group instances available...

i think sturges misses you most of all!

As you know Faxon, my schedule keeps me from raiding, but the encounters so far have been more fun than I have had in a heroic instance.

Whether is it kiting, jousting, cure fest, add burning etc. the raiding crowd may not find it challenging, but it is sure better than no deaths in 17 new Instance zones.

Hope our schedules match if you come back, you are a blast to group/raid with.

So far I really like this xpac as well, but there is still a lot left to do that i may hate.

Could it be that there will actually be a good expansion since KoS!!!?

rofl yea im not surprised, though im pretty sure there are others who miss me more than him even in the casual crowd who you dont see on here much

now as for even getting online w/o the expansion, just tried running the game and the updater isnt going through on our network, looks like they reconfigured something since i last played, since the game starts just fine and i can connect to the servers, it just wont let me play since im running pre LU47, so it may be a week or so before i can get that fixed rofl
