The Elders is moving fast, and has a select few spots open for consistent and dedicated raiders.

Check out the background summary below, which will help those who are considering joining us understand how we govern, what we are about, and which classes are needed to see if there is a good fit.

History:

Many of you know that 5 years ago The Elders was founded as a light raiding / casual style guild when EQ2 first launched. We have evolved a great deal over the years and shifted further toward higher end raiding with each expansion. At present, though we don't claim to rival the elite avatar guilds, we are very actively raiding and progressing, and are now ready to take it to the next level.

The Elders is a very stable long running guild, with solid consistent leadership that has been running the guild since the beginning. Recently we made some very tough, but needed, roster and guild policy changes, which was necessary to greatly improve our raiding ability, boost morale significantly, and increase retention rates.

At present we are looking for players that are serious and ready to move fast with us from a mid-level raiding guild to a higher-end raiding guild. For those of you who are past our current progress level, we do understand that will take some time, determination, and resolve. And the regulars on flames who know us can attest to the fact that we do have plenty of that going for us.

Guild Benefits and Structure:

We have a solid well thought out DKP program
A Master Share Program with 100+ masters and thousands of plat in the guild bank
A Raider Rank (Loot and raid spot priority for ranked raid mains with solid attendance and player skill)
Raid sign ups using our online events calendar
Top level Guild Hall with ALL the very best amenities
Governed by an Officer Council of veteren members to provide stable and level-headed leadership

Raiding Schedule: 5 days a week

Tuesday, Thursday - 9:00 PM EST - Midnight
Saturday, Sunday - 9:00 PM EST - Midnight

Content and Current Raiding Level:

VP Cleared working on Trak
SoH working on Maestro
TSO working on Switchmaster Zaxlyz

Currently Recruiting:

Mystic
Level 80, 175+aa, TSO tier 2 or better gear
AD3 minimum, masters preferred

Which Means:

If you believe you are a good player with solid potential and skills, but need a bit more time to develop and gear up toward high end raiding, and are ready to step up your game, be sure to get in touch with us.

On the flipside, if you are a seasoned high end raider, who would like a low drama guild and would take some genuine pride in the idea of being a part of taking a solid guild like ours to the next level as we progress, we welcome you as well.

Got some cool people here in the Elders, if your not up to the schedule of some of the bigger guilds with the mandatory raiding and all, you might wanna check them out. They are good people and its a good place for you to grow (no homo) as a player.

Spot on Gutt, he rox, I just wish he could get in more playtime these days, his new job makes it tough these days ... but Manus is in his own league for sure ;-)

/Bump and an Elders Update!

It's been too long in coming, however Last night we took Venril Sathir down on the fourth pull, and as an added bonus we scored 4 mythical updates for guildies.

We've been honing our skills since we made a few changes in the roster, becoming a solid team, learning to work together as one unit and it is really paying off.

I know for some of you it might not be that big of a deal but it means a lot to us and we are happy to have Venril's trophy head in our guild hall now as we turn our focus to Nexona.
