Should Alt Guild's be listed on the "Whose Killed What Thread?" - Page 7

What I believe your failing to realize is, instead of being well known for your accomplishments, you are well known for shitty attitudes. And this thread and comments like this one is causing you to turn disso into a joke.

It's all about word associaton. When ppl hear "Disso" they don't think of, WW1's or server firsts or discoveries. Far to often when disso or a member of disso is mentioned, the first reaction from ppl is, "What shit are they starting now?" or "Who are they fucking with this time?"
Never, "Oh, disso, they are a great group of guys who kick much ass" or "Ishbu, he is one kick ass player." You get the general idea.

You want fame and recongnition, and in a sense you have it, but it isn't because of the game or what you've done in game. It's from the bullshit that continually spews forth from the mouths of some Disso members. Your attitude is far out shining your work/accomplishments.

If this was your goal, then you have acheived it. You will not be rememebered for what was accomplished, just how shitty you acted instead.

OH your mistaken, I am very well aware that they don't care what I think. But I say what I want regardless.

But it is quite obvious they want ppl to care about what they've done, hince them wanting to put every guild they ever made up on a list of who killed what.

I was simply enlightening whom ever it concerns the facts of the direction this attitude is sending them and the name disso. They can take it or leave it. I can't say I care either way. Its them not me. Just sad to see ppl who are good players kill themselves.

I can't stand some of them but always associate "Dissolution" the guild with "[one of the] Top Raiding Guilds." If this game were graded on a curve, they would be that irritating asian kid blowing it for the rest of us.

No, not jealous in the least little bit. I don't see how you have gotten that from anything I have said. I haven't been on here thrashing them or anyone else. But if I have an opinion on something someone has said, and feel like sharing it I will. I have pointed out that they are good players, but they are letting there attitude out shine that fact.

How many threads do you see talking about how great they are? How many threads do you see where they are talking shit? And how many threads do you see with ppl fighting, arguing with them over things? When it gets to that point, it is only common sense that it is in fact attitude over accomplishments.

Think about it this way. It's almost like when a author writes a book under a pen name. Anyone who is a fan of Stephen King knows he wrote a few books under the name Richard Bachman. Different name, same source in my opinion. But then again, SOE gave Leet Sauce their own website. Hmm, you're very own website. The guild I was in when I first started playing this game still has it's own website, even though the highest member is probably 20-something and no one has logged on in probably 8 months. The association NAMBLA has their own website. Does that make something that fucked up official. (If you don't know what NAMBLA is, just google it.)

There is no doubt that Dissolution is the best guild on the Nektulos server, and with that one of the best guilds in this game. I have a certain amount of respect for the fact of how dedicated you guys are to being the first. The first to kill avatars, the first to get DT access, the first to kill GodKing. Those are just of the few of the firsts that I know of that you guys can claim. My guild ranks somewhere in the #3 - #6 guild on Nektulos. I'm fucking proud of that, as you guys should be proud of your accomplishments. But if you really wanted to impress me personally, during free character transfers, I would've started some shit with the other top guilds in the game like NPU, SD and all those guys, to all get together on one server and compete. That would never happen though, no fucking way. The second post in this thread Itoock said the only competition on this server is between Disso and Leet Sauce. All top performers crave competition. Think Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods just as two examples from the sports world. Each performed at their best when the competition was most fierce. Sure you can consider you competing with other guilds on other servers competition, but I really don't. To me that's like having the Gold medal finals of a 100 meter dash, and having each guy run at the same time on a different track. It's just not the same.

And I know this is going to get replied with an I don't care what you think blah blah blah. But then if you didn't care what people think, then why are you so adament about having your alt guild listed as a server first? If the only competition is between Leet Sauce and Dissolution...

The idea is that if you want to list your alt guild, that alt guild should be in position to at least try to compete with the main guild over the contested ones. As is it, Leet Sauce only gets contested mobs if Dissolution lets them. The rest of the main guilds at least have a chance to get them even when Disso tries to prevent it.

So no, criteria is not to compete with _Dissolution_ but with the guild that has the mains.

That is exactly, 100%, how it is for the rest of the server. We have not lost a contested we cared about and made a real effort to get since the middle of t6. The only "contested" other guilds have gotten are when we felt it wasnt worth bothering our members by calling at a certain time of day/night for a mob that has no chance of dropping any upgrades.
