Nobody in this game will ever raid with enough different players to know who is the absolute best at anything, let alone the best in the game. Your superman coercer just might be the first one you've seen in ages who is simply doing his damned job. That's as far as that goes.

It's true I can't speak in absolute terms, only from experience. But you know how many guilds I've been in, and the quality of those guilds, so I think my opinion has significant weight and merit in this case.

Lots of dif big time guilds have amazing players kinda sprinkled around all over the place but one thing i've seen stay constant is anyone who's raided with xelus can agree there's just no substitute, not ass-kissing(i'm way too cocky to do that to anybody) it's just the truth. An all star list for top player for each class would be interesting but there'd be waaaaay too many nobodies pulling a "WHY AM I NOT ON THIS LIST I CAN HANG TOO GUYS!" so probly not a good idea

I'm going to have to concur as well on this one, Xelus was absolutely the most skilled player I've ever had the opportunity to raid with, and I'd have to consider him the most skilled player to ever have graced eq2 with their presence.

I'm going to have to agree as well. Not only was Xelus/Xelos the best player I've ever known (the guy knew his way inside and out of every character he touched) he was also extremely gracious and kind. He never let that skill turn him into a pretentious asshole.

What an ignorant statement. I have been on "plenty" of servers (i.e. server slut) and xelus is on an entirely different level. Your typical devil's advocate spam of bullshit on this thread just wont work; there is an undeniable truth to xelus being the greatest raider ever in the history of this game.

edit> make no mistake, he had the good fortune to play a class that can fulfill his potential, but I have no doubt that he could play any class in the game better than anyone without a few days of practice. It's really scary. Did I mention hes asian?
